By car

From the Drammetal junction (Exit 74) on the A 7 motorway, follow the A 38 to Leipzig/Halle until you reach the Friedland junction.

At the roundabout, take the first exit on the right following the K 74 to Witzenhausen/Eschwege.

After around 400 metres, turn right on the B27 towards Friedland. Follow this road for approx. 1 km until the next roundabout where you will see signs for the museum.

There are parking bays for cars and coaches available right next to the museum.

By bicycle / On foot

Museum Friedland is an ideal destination on the cycling and hiking routes across the picturesque River Leine valley.

There are cycle racks provided at the museum. The museum staff can also supply tools and patch kits for minor bicycle repairs.

By train

Museum Friedland is conveniently located for public transport.

The Deutsche Bahn long distance rail network provides fast and efficient services to nearby Göttingen or to Kassel. From there, take the Cantus regional train to Friedland (Han). The museum is located in the former station building.
