Cellphone Discotheque emerged spontaneously during a Museum event on World Refugee Day 2016 - when participants asked to play the music they had on their cellphones via our PA system.

We now do this regularly - after workshops that Museum Friedland organizes with people staying at the Friedland transit camp. For two hours the lobby of the Museum turns into a place for music and dancing.

We invite all people staying at the camp, all inhabitants of Friedland and all our guests from wherever they may be to come and join us for this celebration!
